He lives the life that many wish for: Hans Georg Näder is the head of a billion-dollar company. His friends and family describe him as warm-hearted and caring. The prosthetic billionaire lives in pure luxury: He has his own private jet and several yachts. His art collection is also worth millions. He is one of the 100 richest people in Germany. But there is one thing that is not yet perfect in the life of the man from Duderstadt. With love, it hasn’t really worked out yet. His first marriage was to a family member of another well-known German family. The Bahlsen family from Hanover is known for its baked goods. In 1889, Hermann Bahlsen founded the company in Hanover. His marriage to a member of the family resulted in Naeder’s first daughter, Julia. She was born in 1990. This was a turbulent year for the then 28-year-old. In addition to the birth of his daughter, he was now also managing director of the family business Otto-Bock. His father, Max Näder, retired on his 75th birthday and handed over the reins to his son Hans Georg.
He was able to live up to his father’s high expectations. Under the new management, the company was able to develop further, and at the end of the 1990s, a new business field was even created, the field of EDP technology. This paved the way for the later digitalization service provider Sycor. However, the marriage fell by the wayside and broke up.
In 1997, seven years later, Naeder’s second daughter was born. And it was also his second marriage, this time to Antje Näder from Duderstadt. While daughter Georgina completed her high school diploma at the Louisenlund boarding school, where her older sister Julia had also graduated, there were more and more arguments in the family home. At some point, this marriage also broke up and they divorced.
Both Julia and Georgina are part of the family empire and play an important role in the Otto Bock group of companies. Julia Näder is a member of the Executive Board, Georgina Näder sits on the Supervisory Board.
In 2017, the then 56-year-old got involved once again. He was sitting in his favorite restaurant, Borchardt in Berlin. Model Nathalie Scheil was sitting at the next table. She gave a speech for the CEO of the Otto Bock group of companies on Hans Georg Näder’s 60th birthday. The party took place on the Greek peninsula of Pelion at the Damochari Hotel.
